Hockey Odds on BetWWTS

With the NHL lockout making everyone forget that hockey ever existed, it still doesn't stop us from reviewing Hockey odds, props and all the fantastic betting options that are still available for Hockey season. Unfortunately there is only one prop available for BetWWTS.com's NHL section and well, in all likelihood even that is a waste of time. However, a 2005 season may still come and who's to say you won't regain interest by then.

You have money lines, standard odds, totals, props and the like. You can also cross sport parlay the NHL with other sports if need be. After all, you'll probably want to, just in case the NHL team you took gets contracted.

The One Remaining NHL Betting Prop

BetWWTS.com has the 2005 Stanley Cup champion prop still on the board, in the slim chance the season will actually commence. But we all know it won't. So in lieu, here are some fun props to pass the time.

Sergei Federov/Tara Reid total months together. The over/under is set at eleven months, which is unusually long for a celebrity relationship. However, Tara and Sergei have each had a history of maintaining their relationships past the six month barrier and Sergei seems like the clingy type who won't let Tara get away so easily. In addition, with the NHL season kaput, it gives more time for Sergei to spend with Tara and make her jealous with all his Anna Kournikova stories. On the flip side, it also gives more time for Pavel Bure to swoop in and sabotage the entire relationship.

Todd Bertuzzi Random Street Attacks. The over/under has to be at four. With eighty hours of community service and no outlet for his rage, Bertuzzi will most likely take it out on the unknowing citizens of Vancouver. I see him sneaking up behind random strangers and driving their heads into the ground, all while wearing his Canucks jersey. Then while trying to find a cure for cancer, he gets shot up with gamma rays and becomes the Incredible Hulk.

Will the NHL Have a Salary Cap? Odds would have to be even both ways. The owners are taking a hard line stance, but they took a beating in the press for not accepting the player's last offer to reduce their salaries by twenty percent. In the end, there's going to be a lot of posturing, a lot of prick waving and a whole lot of nothing. And you know what everyone will say? The real losers are the fans. Or are they? Fans will be saving boatloads of money, while the owners and players will be losing millions. Will they miss their hockey? Sure they will. But life went on before hockey and life will go on after it. Or will it? Perhaps the fate of the universe...ah, never mind.
